Whenever we get our car washed next door, we pop in for one of their delicious green drinks or enjoy their delicious coffee. IXI'IM has an extensive, creative menu that is sure to please the pickiest eater. If you want delicious, live food and often times live music, stop in at IXI'IM. You won't regret it.

Nayarit Living comment: This is one of our favourite, Thai Fusion restaurants in Bucerias. Other than the great food, we keep going back because of Laurie. She is the best part of kenshō and one of the top reasons why we decided to make Bucerias our home for the next few years.

The service is impeccable, the entertainment is fun and in our opinion, they have the best tacos in town. Oh and if you want to see iguanas, you can see a plethora of them in their tree.

Nayarit Living comment: This is one of our favourite Mexican restaurants in Bucerias. This family owned, charming restaurant has the best cooks and the best staff. Everyone is always welcoming and always quick to get your order in. The value is also what keeps us coming back. That and their incredibly tasty enchiladas. We have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we've never been disappointed.

Nayarit Living comment: After Pickleball on Saturdays, we usually end up here for breakfast. We love the location as we have a nice view of the ocean, we love the staff as they always remember our names, and the menu is extensive. Their big Pericos breakfast is a great value. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Nayarit Living comment: Angie's Massage was the first place we checked out when we first visited Bucerias. We love the massage therapists, the cleanliness, and the atmosphere. We've tried many other massage places in Bucerias since moving here permanently but we always end up going back to Angie's. We are never dissatisfied. Nayarit Living comment: This is our favourite beach restaurant bar in Bucerias. Sukha delivers with their drinks, their menu, their staff but more important, the view. Sukha also has live entertainment so be sure to make your reservation and ask who will be performing. Or just pop in for a drink. Sukha's in on the norther side of Bucerias but worth the trek.

I'm a Canadian expat who has been living in Bucerias for 2 years. I became an AMPI certified realtor a year ago and have had extremely positive dealings with Yesica Yazmin Martinez Urciago. Not only is she my number 1 choice for everything real estate, closings, and HOA regime, she has been a viable resource for helping me to obtain my RFC #, a Will, and assist with getting me into IMSS (The Mexican Medicare system). Yazmin (as I call her), is my number one stop for EVERYTHING! She is bilingual, punctual, friendly, efficient, reasonably priced, and an intelligent choice to oversee everything and anything in which you require guidance. Honestly, I don't make any critical decisions without her insight. Regardless of the situation, I contact Yazmin first and solicit her input. If in doubt, call Yazmin. She is an absolute favourite among expats.

Nayarit Living comment: Elements Day Spa is another favourite of ours. We love the location as it's set in the Golden Zone, 1 block from the beach. Their massage therapists are top notch and incredibly professional. If you want a simple relaxing massage or prefer to get the knots beat out of you, check out Element's Day Spa - you will not be disappointed.

La Pizza-nteria in Bucerías is one of the best pizzeria in Bahía de Banderas. Pizza, spaghetti, salads, and drinks in a Mexican-style patio setting.

Nayarit Living comment: This is one of our regular weekly places to go as we play euchre with 28 + people each Tuesday afternoon. This family run business has been baking the most delicious, fire cooked pizzas in Bucerias. It's one of our family's favourite pizzas and Ramon Sr and Ramon Jr are like family. You definitely feel at home and welcomed at La PizzaNteria.

Destiladeras is a beautiful and peaceful coastal area that is located along the paths of the old Bucerías-Punta de Mita highway, in the surroundings of Bahía de Banderas. We are talking about one of the beaches most frequented by national and foreign visitors and one of the must-see corners of the Mexican Pacific.

Nayarit Living comment: We always bring our friends and family to Destiladeras Beach whenever they visit. The water is clean and not too rough and the beach is flat so it's easy to walk from end to end. The beach is never too busy but we like to go early in the day to avoid any crowds.

If you're hungry or thirsty, you can rent a table at the Destiladeras Beach Club & Restaurant on the beach. It's a bit on the pricey side as they have a minimum spend per person, however, the food is good and so is the service. Check out their Facebook page below.

Culi's Restaurant & Bar is located on the mountain side of Bucerias with the best selection of seafood, pasta, chicken and steaks in Bucerias, Nayarit. Extensive cocktail bar and wines. Specialty in mixology, specialty in Mexican wines, and signature cuisine.

The service is impeccable, the dishes have a creative flair and wow factor, the drinks are beautiful, the ambiance is relaxed, the music is flavourful and local. More importantly, the chairs are comfortable. We often choose Culi's for special occasions or date night.

The staff is why we keep going back as they are always so pleasant and ready to serve you immediately. The food is always so tasty. If you're a seafood lover or a meat eater, this is the place to go.

Nayarit Living comment: Barchelata's is run by Julio and his beautiful wife, Karina. Barchelata has the best atmosphere, especially during football season. Sit indoors or outdoors and you'll be sure to catch your favourite team on one of their numerous wide screen tvs. What we love about Barchelata's, other than Julio and Karina, is the great service, great pub food, and the coldest beer in town. And this is definitely a bar where most people know your name.

The best fish tacos in town.

Nayarit Living comment: When people ask what are the best restaurants in Bucerias, Mr & Mrs Fish always make the list. This family owned business is friendly, the service is great, the seating is comfortable and the food is always yummy. 

SubGrub produces one of the most sought-after snacks in the bay. Flavorful Canadian-Style Beef Jerky (muscle not stick).

Nayarit Living comment: We met Michael Brown, one of the owners, at Euchre night at Pizza-nterria. Michael brought in his jerky samples for us to try and everyone was hooked. My braces took a beating but it was well worth it as the flavours linger in your mouth for a long time. We've since become friends with his beautiful wife, Karen and their other partners, Kerry and Kevin Sedran. You'll find their jerky all over town but if you want to stop in and chat with the owners, stop in at their shop in Centro Bucerias as they have other tasty treats and also dog treats. We’re a casual and cozy restaurant serving up Asian small plates—from fun improvisations on that theme to faithful renditions of classic dishes that we love. We love the name “bonito” because it’s both the Spanish word for “beautiful” and the name of one of the most important fish in Japanese cuisine. Thus, it’s the perfect name for a restaurant that seeks to explore the shared traits in the cuisines of Vallarta and Vietnam, delving into our mutual love for funk, citrusy brightness, and carefully calibrated spice.

Nayarit Living comment: This place is not in Bucerias but it is one of our favourite restaurants whenever we go to PV. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff are polite and happy and the food is spectacular. We've been a few times now and we've never been disappointed. A must try!

Named after the outgoing and charming owner Austin, who hails from the home of the Minnesota Vikings, this intimate venue attracts men and women of all ages because it’s an open, fun, and lively bar. The beers are always frosty cold, burgers and wings are terrific, and the atmosphere lively. Drop in one night soon and tell them Geordie sent you.

Nayarit Living comment: This is another favourite or ours  whenever we feel like having a meal or a cocktail on the beach. Since it comes up as one of the most popular beach bars in Bucerias on Trip Advisor, our friends and family who visit us, always want to be taken there to experience it for themselves. Their menu is extensive and there's something to please everyone. 

Home made BBQ and Smoked Meats. You're gonna LOVE it. We have Smoked Pork and Smoked Chicken on the menu, available for pickup on Wednesdays at the SubGrub Beef Jerky shop. Orders are limited but the taste is infinite!

Nayarit Living comment: We met Mano, his beautiful wife, Diana and daughter, Emilia through A Dog's New Life where our daughters volunteer. They also attend the same Spanish school together.

When Mano told us he was starting a smoked meat BBQ business, we were excited to try his food. We placed our order on Mano's opening day and it did not disappoint. We tried Mano's smoked chicken and smoked pork as well as his outstanding garlic mashed potatoes, coleslaw and corn. What a great value! The meat was tender and the flavours exploded in our mouths. We highly recommend you stop by, place your order with Mano and treat yourself to some homemade smoked bbq. 5 star, hands down! Oh and do try his hummus, it's one of the best we've tried.

This little mom & pop shop serves some of the best burgers in town. A bit hard to find but if you know where Culi's is, it's only 1 street away, where the colourful flags are.
