We've spent the past few years traveling abroad for the winters while residing for months at a time in rental accommodations. We always found the process of locating the perfect rental to be a frustrating and daunting task. We had to ensure the location was close to everything, and that we stayed within budget, all the while wondering who we could trust. Then, once we found a place, we weren't sure if we could trust the person listing the property and always wondered if our deposit would be safe. For these reasons, we'd book something through one of the larger online booking sites like airbnb or VRBO with the intention of finding something cheaper once we arrived. We would be forced to scramble into action, dedicating all of our time to finding this other place, which created more stress while eating into our leisure time. Sound familiar?

This is where Nayarit Living comes into the picture. By sharing our personal story, it’ll become clear why we decided to help people to find their vacation rentals. Once our family landed in Mexico, we quickly realized our rental wasn’t going to suffice for long-term. We spent countless hours sending messages through our social media ex-pat groups. We spent 7 months searching on our own and approached two dozen various realtors and rental agents in an attempt to find something quite simple. Then, one day while walking in a neighbourhood we liked, we saw a man entering a nice building. We stopped him and asked if he owned or rented. Long story short, that’s how we ended up at our next property. We knew right then that there was a void in the niche of long term-rentals and that we could help others save time and energy if we were to find quality landlords and promote their properties.

We won’t promise to have something for everyone, but we will promise that we personally know the owners we represent and have seen the properties they offer.

Finding rentals for clients is one aspect of what we offer.
